This week has been all about structure. It's really basic stuff, but it's the kind of stuff I've wanted to learn for so long. I've never had any art training before, and I pretty much skipped learning the basics when I started out drawing and painting. So doing this is gonna help me a lot! Couldn't ask for a better place to learn either..
Next week is color and light. Really looking forward to continuing the lessons. Saturday was off, so we went downtown to do some sightseeing which was great. And today we've been subway sketching. Never done anything like that before, so that was a pretty cool experience as well.
Probably will be back next weekend with an update. So until then...

I'm exactly jealous of you right now. As I saw the little cat you added to your gallery I thought at Bobby Chiu and Schoolism for the first time. Looks like Bobby Chiu style by the way.
Well AND I'm jealous what you have a Cintiq ... it's a Cintiq isn't it?
great work by the way you work as a professional at the design industry isn't it?
Yeah, the cat was actually inspired by one of Bobby's videos. I think he painted a bird in it..?
Yes, it is a Cintiq. It's an amazing tool that I would not want to be without now
I wouldn't exactley say I am a professional yet. I've done some professional work, but it's not my main job. I do however strive to make it so soon
haha yea Bobby is an amazing artist. I love his style. And how's your sense about that workshop you did? Is it worth it?
Once I'll buy a Cintiq. Yesterday I got a Mobil AluPen to draw on the Ipad 3 digital but it's definitive not the same as you work with a Cintiq. Which version of the Cintiq do you have? I guess the 21 ux.
Did you ever joined a course to improve your skills at human anatomy? I think so if I look at your pic's so when did you know the books about Gottfried Bammes. It's a amazing book and you can learn a lot.
Which kind of digital painting do you prefer? I mean do you like to create characters ohr envirnoment etc.?
